Twitter has announced some major aesthetic changes to their website that you may have already noticed. Main points of interest? A header image (much like Facebook’s timeline cover photo feature,) a more accessible photo stream, and your profile photo front and center. On NBC’s Today, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo took to the stage to explain why some changed were made. “We rebuilt Twitter for iPad from the ground up to make it fast, beautiful and easy to use,” Costolo said.”
